A Message from the President

Yes, it’s true what you have heard! I have been with Jim DePetris for over 27 years. I was there at the inception of Legend Properties, Inc. in 1990 when Jim started the Company with his brothers.

Perhaps I am the greatest example of the wonderful culture of this Company. I started out in 1990 as a hard working sales agent who in 1998 was named Vice President and partner, the first of many non-DePetris partners to come.

In October 2006, Jim and his brothers bestowed on me a tremendous promotion; I was named President of Legend Properties, Inc. Not bad for a girl born and raised in South Philly! I worked very hard to get to the top, but, again, it was the unique culture of this Company that allowed me the opportunity to succeed.

Legend Properties is a major powerhouse in our market, and two reasons for this is our sales force and staff of which I am so very proud. We are no longer the “boutique” family business we were in the 1990’s when the Legend family was formed but we are still one big family in spirit. We are motivated by our teamwork, loyalty and commitment to one other. I can honestly say that this Company is an extension of my home and family and as they say, “there’s no place like home”.

Legend is a real Philadelphia success story and I’m proud to be one of the many authors in this great story!
